Mugurel Magheru hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Simared -MM-:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Minerul Baita -MM-:s goal. Cazimir Curteanu had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Tudor Hobjilă's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 8th minute, Tudor Hobjilă made a precise shot to the right of Cazimir Curteanu. Simared -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 13th match minute, Simared -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicodim Codrea to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Nicolae Mandache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cazimir Curteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simared -MM-'s Dumitru Miron shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 15th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aurelian Vârlan but with some difficulty. Martin Necula hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Nicolae Mandache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25thth minute of the game Mugurel Magheru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minerul Baita -MM-'s Aurelian Vârlan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicolae Mandache kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Simared -MM-'s Dumitru Miron shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aurelian Vârlan but with some difficulty. Cazimir Curteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosmin Bobeica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiberiu Huștea got free with Aurelian Vârlan in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the game, Tudor Hobjilă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Minerul Baita -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Simared -MM- the free kick. Tudor Hobjilă hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Aurelian Vârlan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dumitru Miron. In the 41st minute Nicolae Mandache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cazimir Curteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolae Mandache in the 43rd minute of play forced Simared -MM-'s goalkeeper Cazimir Curteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cazimir Curteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosmin Bobeica in the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Damian Stana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Simared -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minerul Baita -MM- the free kick. After 47 played minutes Simared -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Damian Stana. Cosmin Bobeica was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Akim Miner hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute Mugurel Magheru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Vârlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 58 in the game by Cornel Mihai from a close distance when the talented Cazimir Curteanu managed to make a qualified save. Simared -MM-'s players were relieved. Cosmin Bobeica who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Cazimir Curteanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tiberiu Huștea charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiberiu Huștea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tiberiu Huștea kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Simared -MM-'s Valeriu Balaban was substituted for Eric Arghirescu. Simared -MM-'s Ernest Enoaia was substituted for Mugurel Magheru. In the 62nd match minute, Simared -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Huștea to maneuver through the defense. Cazimir Curteanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornel Mihai in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Minerul Baita -MM- booed when Simared -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodim Codrea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiberiu Huștea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Albert Oncescu replaced Gică Aldulescu. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Ionuț Baran was substituted for Nicolae Mandache. After 78 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Albert Oncescu. Aurelian Vârlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Enoaia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Simared -MM-'s goalkeeper Cazimir Curteanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cornel Mihai. In the 93rd minute, Frank Miner had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 93 minutes into the game, Matei Humă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Simared -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minerul Baita -MM- the free kick. In the 94th match minute, Simared -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Humă to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Minerul Baita -MM- had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
