Cido Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After a defensive mix-up in XV de Piracicaba's zone, Raúl Freire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Andrade came out of the goal and Raúl Freire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nelsinho Paranaense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cido Schmidt having to make a save. S.C.CHUÍ's Cido Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho Paranaense in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute Eriberto Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, XV de Piracicaba's Wen Yong Sha seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Wen Yong Sha the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of XV de Piracicaba protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Wen Yong Sha had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 13 minutes into the game, one of XV de Piracicaba:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for S.C.CHUÍ. Amílton Terra stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Samuel Andrade. 0-1. In the 18th minute, Raúl Freire left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C.CHUÍ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, XV de Piracicaba's Marcinho Loureiro got a free kick in the 25th minute. XV de Piracicaba's Samuel Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laerte Barreto in the 27th minute of play. Raúl Freire struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Samuel Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C.CHUÍ. 34 minutes into the match, Raúl Freire notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of XV de Piracicaba's Samuel Andrade. Samuel Andrade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cido Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 46 minutes of play, XV de Piracicaba's Alexsandro Teles made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cido Schmidt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Haruna Hassan made the kick off in the second half. Eriberto Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Andrade having to interfere. Túlio Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cido Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexsandro Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, S.C.CHUÍ's Elói Silva got a free kick in the 67th minute. After recieving a nice pass, XV de Piracicaba's Tadeu de Amorim tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cido Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haruna Hassan, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Cido Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeu de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cido Schmidt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haruna Hassan went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. In the 84th minute, Alexsandro Teles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cido Schmidt was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Cido Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcinho Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haruna Hassan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Cido Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cido Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Jacinto in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute of the match, Paulão da Silva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Samuel Andrade was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
