Patrick Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Velloso having to interfere. Diamantino de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Calleri in the 21st minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Airborne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexsandro Simões to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Enzo Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Calleri scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diamantino de Queiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Airborne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Arce came free, but Diamantino de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, New Miran FC's goalkeeper Joel Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hélio Terra. Diamantino de Queiroz came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by New Miran FC's Ernesto Arce. But to his dismay, Ernesto Arce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natã Corrêa to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Enzo Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Miran FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Tavares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diamantino de Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th match minute, Airborne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Alberto Arruda to maneuver through the defense. Joel Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Silveira in the 60th minute of the match. Carlos Alberto Arruda hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Laerte Freitas took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diamantino de Queiroz. Diamantino de Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Diamantino de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Corrêa in the 69th minute of play. Diamantino de Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Enzo Tavares sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Arce got free with Diamantino de Queiroz in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Hélio Terra made a precise shot to the right of Joel Velloso. New Miran FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The supporters of New Miran FC booed when Airborne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diamantino de Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Tavares in the 83rd minute. Diamantino de Queiroz was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Enzo Tavares capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enzo Tavares really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. When the match was over New Miran FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Airborne FC throughout the match.
