With an all-out effort, Cremonese FC's Michel Pernambucano threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yasar Bonnemain, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Marcus Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michel Pernambucano was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Michel Pernambucano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Batista went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, XV de Piracicaba's Ionuț Popete got a free kick in the 59th minute. Fábio Montoia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Kong Gang Zhan made a huge save. In the 67th match minute, XV de Piracicaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Jurdan to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Jurdan hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match.
