After 16 played minutes Wolves FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ruy Valle. Zé Veloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wanderson Silveira in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Wolves FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Hélio Terra came free, but Zé Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Ramos in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Wolves FC - DMZ's Gilberto Ceresso got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Vicente Lopes Maciel in the 43rd minute of play forced Airborne FC's goalkeeper Diamantino de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Patrick Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dênis Santos fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Airborne FC's protests and gave Dênis Santos a yellow card for diving instead. Dênis Santos hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Wolves FC - DMZ defense, Patrick Ramos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Veloso. The Wolves FC - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Veloso should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wanderson Silveira during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
