S.C.CHUÍ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PREZULO FC the free kick. Virgílio Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgílio Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Virgílio Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PREZULO FC's Emerson Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 10 minutes, Cristóvão Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PREZULO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristóvão Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, S.C.CHUÍ's goalkeeper Cido Schmidt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Secco. Dida Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Sabóia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerson Carvalho charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerson Carvalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gerson Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. A hard shot by Emerson Rosa from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Cido Schmidt's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 21st minute of the match S.C.CHUÍ got a corner. PREZULO FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. João Adolfo Marquez ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Henrique Fantini managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. João Adolfo Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Mané Corrêa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cristóvão Lucas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Cido Schmidt made a huge save. Cido Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Ferraz in the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half S.C.CHUÍ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

S.C.CHUÍ's Cláudio Sabóia was substituted for Virgílio Leal. 52 minutes into the match, S.C.CHUÍ's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Lucas came free, but Cido Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Severino Secco made a precise shot to the right of Cido Schmidt. S.C.CHUÍ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Mané Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. S.C.CHUÍ's Cido Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Ferraz in the 67th minute of play. When Jaime Bastos fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PREZULO FC's protests and gave Jaime Bastos a yellow card for diving instead. Jaime Bastos hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, S.C.CHUÍ's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Corrêa came free, but Cido Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81stth minute of the game Cristóvão Lucas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C.CHUÍ's Cido Schmidt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. César Vieira was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. The supporters of S.C.CHUÍ booed when PREZULO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, S.C.CHUÍ's João Adolfo Marquez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 87 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Dida Brasil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fábio Sabóia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Campidelis in the 88th minute of play forced PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Dida Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, PREZULO FC's Dida Brasil got control of the ball when Fábio Sabóia tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. S.C.CHUÍ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
