Thomás Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgian Arrascaeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Giorgian Arrascaeta might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomás Travassos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giorgian Arrascaeta ran back to his position shaking his head. Thomás Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgian Arrascaeta in the 5th minute of play. After 5 played minutes FC Barrera 2.0 got a freekick which was hit by Cleiton Furtado. The audience was convinced that Giorgian Arrascaeta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomás Travassos was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Giorgian Arrascaeta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomás Travassos having to make a save. 8 minutes into the match, FC Barrera 2.0's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgian Arrascaeta came free, but Thomás Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Giorgian Arrascaeta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomás Travassos. FC Barrera 2.0's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giorgian Arrascaeta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 19 minutes into the game, Gabriel Velasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Barrera 2.0's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Warren FC - DMZ the free kick. If Giorgian Arrascaeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giorgian Arrascaeta might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomás Travassos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giorgian Arrascaeta ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeff Waters could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Bernardo Moreira made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, FC Barrera 2.0's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgian Arrascaeta came free, but Thomás Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Giorgian Arrascaeta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Barrera 2.0's Thomás Travassos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd match minute, FC Barrera 2.0 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago de Castro to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FC Barrera 2.0 defense, Giorgian Arrascaeta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomás Travassos. The FC Barrera 2.0 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomás Travassos should have stopped the shot. Valério Xavier's late challenge caught a Warren FC - DMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valério Xavier helped the player get up and apologised. Valério Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. FC Barrera 2.0's Thomás Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgian Arrascaeta in the 41st minute of play. FC Barrera 2.0 were furious when Virgílio Montenegro was red carded, 48 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Barrera 2.0 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! In the 52nd minute there was a penalty for Warren FC - DMZ. Giorgian Arrascaeta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Thomás Travassos. 0-3. After the first half Warren FC - DMZ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeff Waters was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Barrera 2.0's Jeff Waters got a free kick in the 57th minute. Gildo Novaes made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Warren FC - DMZ's Sydney Guerra. Thomás Travassos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giorgian Arrascaeta went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Thomás Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giorgian Arrascaeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Giorgian Arrascaeta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thomás Travassos. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 71st minute, Giorgian Arrascaeta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giorgian Arrascaeta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomás Travassos having to make a save. 77 minutes into the match, Warren FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jeff Waters came free, but Bernardo Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Warren FC - DMZ's Sydney Guerra managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gabriel Velasco in the 81 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valério Xavier in the 83rd minute of play forced Warren FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Bernardo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Giorgian Arrascaeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Ladislao Bermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Warren FC - DMZ's Cleiton Duarte was substituted for Eusébio Vieira. Giorgian Arrascaeta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thomás Travassos having to make a save. Giorgian Arrascaeta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Thomás Travassos made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giorgian Arrascaeta in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomás Travassos prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
