When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Décio Salgado made a kick off. Lupere FC - DMZ's Silas Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Valadares in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ booed when Lupere FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murillo Pitta to maneuver through the defense. Eugênio Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Marcelo de Souza scored to the left of an out of position Lúcio Miranda, making the score, 0-5. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Sérgio de Queiroz got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Lupere FC - DMZ's Silas Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Valadares in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lupere FC - DMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
