In the 5thth minute of the game Tanek Walczyk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kaplan's Emilian Martinez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ludovic Guillois fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Martinez having to interfere. In the 9th minute Damião Granja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sacha Bové saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tanek Walczyk in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilian Martinez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute of the match ANAHA FC got a corner. Kaplan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hassan Theron ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Kaplan's zone, Tanek Walczyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilian Martinez came out of the goal and Tanek Walczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilian Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanek Walczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kaplan's goalkeeper Emilian Martinez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tanek Walczyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benedicto Medero kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Kaplan's Emilian Martinez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Kaplan from getting a goal against them. Ludovic Guillois received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emilian Martinez came out and tried to block the shot, but Ludovic Guillois slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Cayetano Ponc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Martinez having to interfere. Emilian Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludovic Guillois, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Damião Granja left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kaplan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 73 minutes into the match, Kaplan's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Rieu came free, but Emilian Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Orlando Teofilio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kaplan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Kaplan made a substitution. Teodosio Erramu replaced Benedicto Medero. Sacha Bové made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Teofilio in the 82nd minute of play. Sacha Bové stood somewhat misplaced when Luciano Victoro came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 82 minute. Orlando Teofilio took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sacha Bové. Sacha Bové dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. In the 93rd minute, Luciano Victoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Kaplan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kaplan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
