With his leg David Rotariu managed to avoid a goal in the 2ndth minute, when Turbo Koksy's Olgierd Fronczak fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cheng Chao blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Rotariu having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cheng Chao got free with David Rotariu in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Turbo Koksy's Patryk Ranc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leroy Kluttig in the 9th minute of play. Cheng Chaos short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got David Rotariu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cheng Chao might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Rotariu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cheng Chao ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute Cheng Chao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when Cyprian Hajduk came free, but David Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cyprian Hajduk in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Rotariu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. David Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheng Chao, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind PoWer SC 2K5's goalkeeper David Rotariu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cheng Chao made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 35thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but David Rotariu would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. David Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheng Chao, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind PoWer SC 2K5's goalkeeper David Rotariu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olgierd Fronczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Todor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Patryk Ranc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, PoWer SC 2K5 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Kimmich to maneuver through the defense.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cheng Chao was the one to do the kick off. Olgierd Fronczak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paul Mertesacker's late challenge caught a Turbo Koksy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Mertesacker helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of PoWer SC 2K5:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Turbo Koksy:s goal. When Cheng Chao came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Turbo Koksy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cheng Chao couldn't finish the play. Cheng Chao might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Rotariu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cheng Chao ran back to his position shaking his head. After 65 minutes, Lukas Goretzka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PoWer SC 2K5 and the Turbo Koksy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lukas Goretzka kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Turbo Koksy's Esteve Crespin was substituted for Teo Škarpa. A collision led to PoWer SC 2K5 getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Lukas Goretzka hit a great ball. Turbo Koksy's Cheng Chao got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Cheng Chao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Rotariu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Patryk Ranc made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Falko Wirtz sent off a good shot on target. David Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheng Chao, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. PoWer SC 2K5 were furious when Paul Mertesacker was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PoWer SC 2K5! An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Middendorf in the 86th minute of play forced Turbo Koksy's goalkeeper Patryk Ranc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Turbo Koksy's Cheng Chao sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Rotariu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Rotariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cheng Chao in the 90th minute of the match. Filip Patora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 played minutes PoWer SC 2K5 got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Brehme. Cheng Chao blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Rotariu having to make a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the PoWer SC 2K5 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Turbo Koksy.
