Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Cascade Park West from getting a goal against them. David Rotariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allen Dalton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waldo Renteria in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Rotariu saved PoWer SC 2K5 from getting behind. The corner ended in Amir Lee almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu did a great save. David Rotariu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldo Renteria's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Amir Lee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cascade Park West's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amir Lee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th match minute, PoWer SC 2K5 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Middendorf to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Waldo Renteria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Leroy Kluttig came free, but Dario Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claude Joyner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Waldo Renteria to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Claude Joyner took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for David Rotariu to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of PoWer SC 2K5 booed when Cascade Park West was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolland Hobbs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Waldo Renteria could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which David Rotariu however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Cascade Park West's zone, Falko Wirtz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Wilhelm came out of the goal and Falko Wirtz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cascade Park West's Wang Sha Qian was substituted for Claude Joyner. 73 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when Amir Lee came free, but David Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Cascade Park West's corner Rashad Richardson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and David Rotariu quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of PoWer SC 2K5 booed when Cascade Park West was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolland Hobbs didn't get a good kick on the ball. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wang Sha Qian in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Amir Lee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cascade Park West's Chad Busby was substituted for Zoilo Doblas. A collision led to Cascade Park West getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Jamar Orlinsky hit a great ball. David Rotariu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldo Renteria in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Leroy Kluttig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldo Renteria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PoWer SC 2K5's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
