The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Federico Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wessel Bos in the 4th minute of play. After 5 minutes, Hugo Itzaina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trapiche and the KN ZGORZELEC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Trapiche got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Itzaina. Wessel Bos took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Federico Fe. Federico Fe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Federico Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wessel Bos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Trapiche's goal looked a bit too open when Wessel Bos came free, but Federico Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KN ZGORZELEC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariusz Kaleta in the 26th minute. In the 31st match minute, KN ZGORZELEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kazimierz Chrobak to maneuver through the defense. Federico Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wessel Bos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Wessel Bos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Trapiche's Leonard Radziszewski got a free kick in the 41st minute. Leonard Radziszewski made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tadeo Abajas. After the first half KN ZGORZELEC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After taking down the ball on KN ZGORZELEC's corner Kazimierz Chrobak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Federico Fe quite easily take care of the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Wessel Bos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Federico Fe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 63 minutes into the match, Trapiche's goalkeeper Federico Fe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wessel Bos. Wessel Bos might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Federico Fe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wessel Bos ran back to his position shaking his head. Trapiche's Federico Fe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Trapiche from getting a goal against them. Wessel Bos scored 0-4 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Fe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Federico Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wessel Bos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KN ZGORZELEC's Wessel Bos got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Trapiche's Saverio Osasun in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KN ZGORZELEC's goalie prevented a goal. KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Osasun in the 81st minute of play. Federico Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wessel Bos in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute of the match KN ZGORZELEC got a corner. Trapiche's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariusz Kaleta ran over to the corner to take the kick.
