Fabrice Gamet started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wessel Bos in the 3rd minute of play forced gipsy kings's goalkeeper Jean-Pascal Weiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Pascal Weiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wessel Bos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wessel Bos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean-Pascal Weiss having to make a save. If Emiliano Felice had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terry Pèlerin hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Jean-Pascal Weiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wessel Bos in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of KN ZGORZELEC booed when gipsy kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Périn didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 minutes of play, KN ZGORZELEC's Wessel Bos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean-Pascal Weiss was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wessel Bos in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Pascal Weiss prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the gipsy kings defense, Wessel Bos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean-Pascal Weiss. The gipsy kings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean-Pascal Weiss should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrice Gamet got free with Emilio Shepherd in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wessel Bos spun around in front of the goal 34 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of gipsy kings's goal. Wessel Bos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Philippe Legrand hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Samy Soufflet kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Mariusz Kaleta, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Samy Soufflet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. gipsy kings's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KN ZGORZELEC the free kick. After a rather tough play, gipsy kings's Samy Soufflet got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Wessel Bos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Pascal Weiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Wessel Bos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KN ZGORZELEC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wessel Bos to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as KN ZGORZELEC's Wessel Bos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jean-Pascal Weiss. That made the score 0-5 after 53 minutes of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in gipsy kings fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! 61 minutes into the game, Wessel Bos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jean-Pascal Weiss. Wessel Bos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Jean-Pascal Weiss didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emiliano Felice went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in gipsy kings's zone, Wessel Bos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Pascal Weiss came out of the goal and Wessel Bos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute of the game José Broutin made a throw-in which Amaury Leone played forward. In the 72nd minute, KN ZGORZELEC's Wessel Bos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Jean-Pascal Weiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wessel Bos, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Wessel Bos might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean-Pascal Weiss. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wessel Bos ran back to his position shaking his head. Jean-Pascal Weiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wessel Bos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 played minutes gipsy kings got a freekick which was hit by Philippe Legrand. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Wessel Bos sped through gipsy kings's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jean-Pascal Weiss. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Luís Valladares got free with Jean-Pascal Weiss in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Pascal Weiss prevented the ball from getting in the gole. gipsy kings's Jean-Pascal Weiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wessel Bos in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Emiliano Felice cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Jean-Pascal Weiss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. KN ZGORZELEC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
