The supporters of Newcastle United booed when KS HANZA Goleniów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Moryl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Paulo Zonta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mikolaj Jerzyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akın Sahir in the 14th minute of play. Zé Paulo Zonta made in the 15th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Pankracy Malicki however managed to control. Marian Erland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergiu Cioacă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Newcastle United's Adam Pacholewski got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, KS HANZA Goleniów's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Vollmar came free, but Sergiu Cioacă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when Akın Sahir came free, but Mikolaj Jerzyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when Akın Sahir came free, but Mikolaj Jerzyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, KS HANZA Goleniów's Sergiu Cioacă got control of the ball when Adam Pacholewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Șerban Chihaia, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of KS HANZA Goleniów's goalie and right to Adam Pacholewski. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. KS HANZA Goleniów's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Vollmar in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergiu Cioacă saved KS HANZA Goleniów from getting behind. After 95 played minutes KS HANZA Goleniów got a freekick which was hit by Akın Sahir. 96 minutes into the match, KS HANZA Goleniów's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Vollmar came free, but Sergiu Cioacă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Newcastle United manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing KS HANZA Goleniów to win.
