A sloppy throw-in by Fintan Walker in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by KN ZGORZELEC's Arvid Bodin. Wessel Bos might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wincent Cielencki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wessel Bos ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Wy-pas's Wincent Cielencki got control of the ball when Wessel Bos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute, Lukasz Jaszynski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emilio Shepherd was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Wessel Bos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wincent Cielencki was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After 27 minutes, Wessel Bos made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Wy-pas's Wincent Cielencki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Mevlüt Serin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Shepherd was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Mevlüt Serin put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Emilio Shepherd. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roch Mazierski was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Wy-pas's Roch Mazierski got a free kick in the 51st minute. KN ZGORZELEC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariusz Kaleta in the 54th minute. The corner ended in Mariusz Kaleta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Wy-pas's Wincent Cielencki did a great save. After having played for 55 minutes, Mevlüt Serin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wy-pas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mevlüt Serin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Roch Mazierski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 61 played minutes KN ZGORZELEC got a freekick which was hit by Anthimos Ntounias. KN ZGORZELEC's Eugeniusz Kociniewski was substituted for Gilbert Gotfryd. Wy-pas's Michal Piechocki was substituted for Lukasz Jaszynski. KN ZGORZELEC's Kazimierz Chrobak was substituted for Emiliano Felice. In the 62nd match minute, KN ZGORZELEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthimos Ntounias to maneuver through the defense. Eugeniusz Kociniewski hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on Wy-pas's corner Ace Ventura fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emilio Shepherd quite easily take care of the ball. Wincent Cielencki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wessel Bos, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute, Borys Karaszkiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd got control of the ball when Michal Piechocki tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Roch Mazierski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Piechocki in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Kociniewski in the 92nd minute of play forced Wy-pas's goalkeeper Wincent Cielencki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd match minute, KN ZGORZELEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borys Karaszkiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Piechocki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Wy-pas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
