An unexpectedly hard shot by Ace Ventura in the 18th minute of play forced Powiśle Warszawa's goalkeeper Boguslaw Siwek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Powiśle Warszawa's Boguslaw Siwek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Powiśle Warszawa from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Powiśle Warszawa defense, Mevlüt Serin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boguslaw Siwek. The Powiśle Warszawa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boguslaw Siwek should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radomir Lato during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Wy-pas getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Leszek Kisiel hit a great ball. Teobald Turek struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Wincent Cielencki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Powiśle Warszawa. In the 47th match minute, Powiśle Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andriy Kaká to maneuver through the defense. Andriy Kaká kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Roch Mazierski made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Wy-pas booed when Powiśle Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Lato didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wy-pas had won after a very even match.
