Vintilă Ilie shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 20 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Ishmael came free, but Damian Tender reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Tender took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Hernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Răcănel charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Răcănel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, RED BLUE STAR's Victor Răcănel got a free kick in the 25th minute. With his leg Reynaldo Savion managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when RED BLUE STAR's Fabian Şoimaru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Reynaldo Savion came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by RED BLUE STAR's Fabian Şoimaru. But to his dismay, Fabian Şoimaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of RED BLUE STAR booed when Bahía é Carnaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Şoimaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Nicodim Stancu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RED BLUE STAR and the Bahía é Carnaval players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcel Itu ran back to his position shaking his head. Victor Răcănel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reynaldo Savion having to make a save. Reynaldo Savion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Itu in the 68th minute of the match. Reynaldo Savion didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabian Şoimaru went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabian Şoimaru in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reynaldo Savion saved Bahía é Carnaval from getting behind. Fabian Şoimaru struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Reynaldo Savion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RED BLUE STAR. When Paulino Domingues fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bahía é Carnaval's protests and gave Paulino Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of RED BLUE STAR booed when Bahía é Carnaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Savion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Şoimaru in the 94th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bahía é Carnaval players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RED BLUE STAR.
