In the 14th minute, Augusto Chaime made a precise shot to the right of Gigi Buffon. Ajax's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Apolo Huly got a free kick in the 18th minute. Gigi Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Apolo Huly went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ajax's Gigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Huly in the 24th minute of play. Benedicto Oriol kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Oriol came free, but Gigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Escobar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ajax the free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Apolo Huly made a kick off. After 50 minutes, Benedicto Oriol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE and the Ajax players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benedicto Oriol hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Augusto Chaime kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C.S. y D. Jaime Bero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Apolo Huly hit a great ball. Benedicto Oriol's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Gigi Buffon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Chaime in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gigi Buffon saved Ajax from getting behind. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Augusto Chaime sped through Ajax's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gigi Buffon. Gigi Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Raitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Augusto Chaime ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gigi Buffon. Gigi Buffon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. When Apolo Huly came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Huly couldn't finish the play. Gigi Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedicto Oriol in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Ajax getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Dobromir Klimkiewicz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Huly in the 89th minute of play forced Ajax's goalkeeper Gigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dobromir Klimkiewicz hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Moises Garci took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gigi Buffon. Gigi Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
