Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Abelardo Ermengol came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the BAIRES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Ermengol couldn't finish the play. Leo Gaskon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Dominic in the 6th minute of the match. After 8 minutes, Armando Beltza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mainumby and the BAIRES players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of BAIRES booed when Mainumby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Beltza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Txanton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Santiago Gau made a huge save. A collision led to Mainumby getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Victor Gelmiro hit a great ball. With a little luck, Mainumby's Santiago Gau got control of the ball when Marcos Domeka tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mainumby's Luis Semeno got a free kick in the 20th minute. Santiago Gau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Txanton in the 32nd minute. BAIRES's Leo Gaskon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Suero in the 34th minute of play. Jacinto Txanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Santiago Gau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mainumby's Santiago Gau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Ermengol in the 40th minute of play. Luis Semeno kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Abelardo Ermengol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santiago Gau was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 47th minute, Marco Erasto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leo Gaskon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 55th minute, Gerardo Oinatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Txanton took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Gau. Santiago Gau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Santiago Gau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Txanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 71 minutes into the game, when Celestino Curcio put in a rough tackle. In the 70th minute, one of Mainumby:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mainumby. The referee gave BAIRES a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marcos Domeka, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mainumby's Santiago Gau. 3-1. After some careless play in the Mainumby defense, Abelardo Ermengol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santiago Gau. The Mainumby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santiago Gau should have stopped the shot. Francisco Dominic took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leo Gaskon. BAIRES's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Candido Suero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mainumby fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. The supporters of BAIRES booed when Mainumby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Ilazki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Benicio Ipar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santiago Gau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leo Gaskon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Suero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Txanton in the 95th minute of play. After some careless play in the Mainumby defense, Jacinto Txanton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santiago Gau. The Mainumby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santiago Gau should have stopped the shot. BAIRES's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
