An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Esiquio in the 29th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Santiago Gau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Guido Esiquio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in LOS HUITOS's zone, Marco Erasto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Pes came out of the goal and Marco Erasto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorato Omero made a kick off. If Arturo Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Honorato Omero sped through LOS HUITOS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adrian Pes. After having played for 68 minutes, Gerardo Oinatz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
