Bengt-Arne Dahlquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nardo Tuo went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bengt-Arne Dahlquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nardo Tuo in the 6th minute of the match. After 6 played minutes IFK Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Olle Ekström. In the 7th minute of the match Vachon Camaño sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bengt-Arne Dahlquist skillfully saved the ball. In the 8th minute, Piearres Somiedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Buceo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of IFK Göteborg booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidoro Romeu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Jaizki Colina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bengt-Arne Dahlquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Emilio Alberete took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bengt-Arne Dahlquist. IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the IFK Göteborg defense, Jaizki Colina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bengt-Arne Dahlquist. The IFK Göteborg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bengt-Arne Dahlquist should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Piearres Somiedo in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Arne Dahlquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute, Mattias Kilman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Jaizki Colina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bengt-Arne Dahlquist. IFK Göteborg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaizki Colina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. If Mattias Kilman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to IFK Göteborg getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Torsten Petersson hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Nardo Tuo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bengt-Arne Dahlquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Bengt-Arne Dahlquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piearres Somiedo in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Thanks to some nice moves Piearres Somiedo could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Bengt-Arne Dahlquist however easily saved by the left post. 64 minutes into the game, Nardo Tuo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Bengt-Arne Dahlquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bengt-Arne Dahlquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nardo Tuo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaizki Colina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bengt-Arne Dahlquist came out and tried to block the shot, but Jaizki Colina slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 70th minute. In the 79th minute, Sporting Buceo's Sengrat Vid ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bengt-Arne Dahlquist. Bengt-Arne Dahlquist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-13. Bengt-Arne Dahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nardo Tuo in the 83rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sporting Buceo's Nardo Tuo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bengt-Arne Dahlquist. That made the score 0-14 after 85 minutes of play. Nardo Tuo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Bengt-Arne Dahlquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Buceo. If Nardo Tuo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengt-Arne Dahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piearres Somiedo in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Sporting Buceo's Emilio Alberete ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bengt-Arne Dahlquist. Bengt-Arne Dahlquist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-15.
