Hendrik van Eijnde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 乔南文, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. FC Valkyria's Rune Dahlquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Larrategui in the 6th minute of play. When Roman Zornoza fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hincha Pelotas FC's protests and gave Roman Zornoza a yellow card for diving instead. Roman Zornoza hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Hincha Pelotas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Norberg came free, but Hendrik van Eijnde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-1 became the score in the 9th minute when Kurt Norberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Valentine Corias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Dahlquist having to interfere. Valentine Corias charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentine Corias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Valentine Corias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ernst Giöck came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the FC Valkyria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernst Giöck couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the game, Urtsin Murueta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hincha Pelotas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Valkyria the free kick. Hincha Pelotas FC:s Hendrik van Eijnde showed great skill when he stopped Gottfrid Pihlblad:s penalty. Ismael Larrategui took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rune Dahlquist. Rune Dahlquist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 37th minute, Kurt Norberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Valkyria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Ismael Larrategui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hincha Pelotas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Larrategui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Dahlquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Kurt Norberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rune Dahlquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Larrategui in the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Valkyria booed when Hincha Pelotas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathías Guevara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hincha Pelotas FC's goalkeeper Hendrik van Eijnde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Valkyria were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Hincha Pelotas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gottfrid Pihlblad took the corner. The corner led FC Valkyria's Gottfrid Pihlblad to fire away a dangerous shot which Hendrik van Eijnde despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When León Onez fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hincha Pelotas FC's protests and gave León Onez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, León Onez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute of the game Jan-Åke Holmberg made a throw-in which Zdzislaw Ledochowski played forward. 72 minutes into the match, Hincha Pelotas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Norberg came free, but Hendrik van Eijnde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hincha Pelotas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gottfrid Pihlblad was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Valkyria's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gottfrid Pihlblad almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hincha Pelotas FC's Hendrik van Eijnde did a great save. A sloppy throw-in by Jan-Åke Holmberg in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Hincha Pelotas FC's Candelario Cortina. Hendrik van Eijnde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Ledochowski in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Ernst Giöck made a precise shot to the right of Hendrik van Eijnde. Hincha Pelotas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. A collision led to Hincha Pelotas FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. León Onez hit a great ball. Hendrik van Eijnde came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Valkyria's Kurt Norberg. But to his dismay, Kurt Norberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. When the final whistle sounded FC Valkyria left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hincha Pelotas FC.
