An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Almkvist in the 35th minute of play forced Nueva Adalucia's goalkeeper Larpe Cabrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Almkvist made a kick off. The goalkeeper, Larpe Cabrera, was totally fooled by C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Saul Roman, who 93 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
