In the 15th minute Henric Villaquiran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgio March saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes Picanya FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldovino Saura. Henric Villaquiran might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giorgio March. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henric Villaquiran ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Almkvist in the 22nd minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naldo Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Almkvist in the 24th minute of play. Alessandro Del Pieros short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Naldo Roig to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
