Iván Villafane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurino Serena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in A.D. Alcorcón's zone, Iván Villafane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurino Serena came out of the goal and Iván Villafane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Cuatrodeocho players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
