Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Figueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erlantz Bermejo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Sbârcea came out and tried to block the shot, but Erlantz Bermejo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Figueira in the 17th minute of play. Emmanuel Otero hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute of the match Orihuela Club de Fútbol got a corner. A.D. Alcorcón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Geovanni de Medeiros ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in David Armada heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Figueira in the 26th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimiro Figueira in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurino Serena saved A.D. Alcorcón from getting behind. In the 31st minute Vladimiro Figueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes Orihuela Club de Fútbol got a freekick which was hit by Martin Belezhkov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Figueira in the 38th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Sbârcea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erlantz Bermejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belo Alvarez to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Belo Alvarez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.D. Alcorcón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a little luck, A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena got control of the ball when David Armada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maurino Serena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vladimiro Figueira in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Figueira came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alcorcón fans cheered their team off the field, for while Orihuela Club de Fútbol had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
