Cercadinho's Luisão Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Vidal in the 8th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Vidal came free, but Luisão Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natã Rosa in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisão Quadros saved Cercadinho from getting behind. Luisão Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Neves in the 11th minute of play. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Adelino Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clemente da Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente da Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Cercadinho got a freekick which was hit by Clemente da Rocha. The supporters of Cercadinho booed when Merusca F&P - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felippe Amaral in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rodriguinho Pernambucano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Luisão Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Costa in the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natã Rosa in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisão Quadros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the game, Edmílson Vidal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Luisão Quadros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute Adelino Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisão Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adelino Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisão Quadros having to interfere. Edmílson Vidal scored 0-4 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luisão Quadros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Merusca F&P - CIMZ were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Willian de Salles replaced Cícero Diniz. If Adelino Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adelino Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adelino Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, Adelino Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Cercadinho getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Carlos Fernando Mesquita hit a great ball. In the 63rd match minute, Merusca F&P - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Betinho Lara hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Tomé Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Rodriguinho Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Amaral in the 72nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Ian Salles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luisão Quadros. That made the score 0-5 after 81 minutes of play. 87 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's goalkeeper Luisão Quadros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Willian de Salles. Luisão Quadros didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Dieguinho Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Vinícius Pontes took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luisão Quadros. Luisão Quadros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Ramiro de Carvalho charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro de Carvalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
