The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Rene Aires notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez. Nestor Cortez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 7th minute Rene Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Aires blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestor Cortez having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Loco De Remate's Nestor Cortez threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rene Aires, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Nestor Cortez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Rene Aires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Laurendi hit a great ball. Nestor Cortez was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Rene Aires capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rene Aires really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0.

The wind increased when Rene Aires made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Rene Aires's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Cortez was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. But to his dismay, Rene Aires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Loco De Remate's Hıdır Namal was substituted for Feliciano Iratxo. Nestor Cortez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Clodoveo Christobal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Loco De Remate players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
