Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bolo Bolaño started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Rios. Hugo Orlando Gatti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lino Rios went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Lino Rios fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC FUSION's protests and gave Lino Rios a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AFC FUSION getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Lino Rios hit a great ball. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bolo Bolaño in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Rios to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Lino Rios had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti. Consejo del Mate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lino Rios was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Consejo del Mate's Bolo Bolaño got a free kick in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Rios in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Orlando Gatti saved Consejo del Mate from getting behind. In the 34th minute of the match, Germano Bettencourt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Orlando Gatti was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC FUSION's Germano Bettencourt. But to his dismay, Germano Bettencourt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 43 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Rios. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Rios stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Lino Rios made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti. Consejo del Mate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. A collision led to Consejo del Mate getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Fagildo Pamanes hit a great ball. Consejo del Mate were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after AFC FUSION's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fagildo Pamanes took the corner. Javier Betadur was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Bolo Bolaño kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Consejo del Mate got a freekick which was hit by Bolo Bolaño. A collision led to AFC FUSION getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Thiago Silva hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's Fagildo Pamanes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Eztebe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Santo Lorenz made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Javier Betadur however managed to control. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Bettencourt in the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when Consejo del Mate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Betadur didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78thth minute of the game Lino Rios who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Hugo Orlando Gatti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Rios's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. A collision led to AFC FUSION getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Dawid Beckham hit a great ball. The supporters of Consejo del Mate booed when AFC FUSION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dawid Beckham didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Consejo del Mate's Fagildo Pamanes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roberto Eztebe. Roberto Eztebe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AFC FUSION fans cheered their team off the field, for while Consejo del Mate had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
