After a defensive mix-up in Claretiano FC's zone, Zoil Pequeño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birila Graña came out of the goal and Zoil Pequeño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Maurinho Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Birila Graña made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Zoil Pequeño sent off a good shot on target. Claretiano FC's Benigno Viñal was substituted for Norino Tostado. Birila Graña came out of the goal and Leobardo Padierna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claretiano FC's Birila Graña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Claretiano FC from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Claretiano FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo ScrugenFC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 79 minutes, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Fortun Bobes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Birila Graña. Claretiano FC's Gelacio Salceda was substituted for Qu Lei Chang. 83 minutes into the match, Claretiano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leobardo Padierna came free, but Birila Graña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Regis Padriña in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Claretiano FC's Favila Ribadas. 90 minutes into the match, Maurinho Mendonça had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose Boldu. Deportivo ScrugenFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maurinho Mendonça was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Deportivo ScrugenFC were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Claretiano FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fortun Bobes took the corner. Leobardo Padierna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Birila Graña having to make a save. With a little luck, Claretiano FC's Birila Graña got control of the ball when Leobardo Padierna tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Deportivo ScrugenFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Claretiano FC throughout the match.
