In the 10th minute of the match Todos al Fondo got a corner. Claretiano FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ivon Curiel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Todos al Fondo's Ivon Curiel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Birila Graña in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Orlando Rivera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Mendonça in the 16th minute of the match. Orlando Rivera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurinho Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Todos al Fondo's Apollinaire Ewing quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tiadoro Folguera, made in the 28th minute of the game. In the 30th minute, Maurinho Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Claretiano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Todos al Fondo booed when Claretiano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmu Torre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivon Curiel struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Birila Graña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Todos al Fondo. After 42 minutes, Tiadoro Folguera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Claretiano FC and the Todos al Fondo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Claretiano FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiadoro Folguera. Todos al Fondo's Orlando Rivera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Mendonça in the 44th minute of play. Claretiano FC's Birila Graña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Gotzon in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maurinho Mendonça made a kick off. Todos al Fondo's Justino Gotzon got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Todos al Fondo defense, Maurinho Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orlando Rivera. The Todos al Fondo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orlando Rivera should have stopped the shot. Orlando Rivera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Mendonça in the 68th minute of the match. When Claretiano FC's Maurinho Mendonça in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 80th minute Maurito Boselli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birila Graña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Nan Li in the 83rd minute of play forced Claretiano FC's goalkeeper Birila Graña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Yu Nan Li's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Birila Graña was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Claretiano FC were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Todos al Fondo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benigno Viñal took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Benigno Viñal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Orlando Rivera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Todos al Fondo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Claretiano FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Claretiano FC.
