Ture Juniel spun around in front of the goal 18 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Französisch Buchholz FC's goal. 22 minutes into the match, Französisch Buchholz FC's Dé Velloso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oliverio Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Französisch Buchholz FC's goalkeeper Heimko Geisen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ture Juniel. Oliverio Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Heimko Geisen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ture Juniel in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Dé Velloso made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Ture Juniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heimko Geisen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Isaksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Oliverio Kahn made a huge save. Heimko Geisen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Juniel in the 63rd minute of play. Dé Velloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Germany's Roberto Carlos was substituted for Müslüm Baba. Heimko Geisen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbert Štriker in the 79th minute of the match. At last the ball reached Roberto Carlos at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Französisch Buchholz FC. 3-1. Französisch Buchholz FC's Heimko Geisen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Štriker in the 94th minute of play. Sixten Gehling kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Oliverio Kahn acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Armin Kirchhoff. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Germany had played much better football throughout.
