The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, La Candela FC's Pablo Erasto got control of the ball when Luc Margueritte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pablo Erasto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clément Bore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Léo Verite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Pablo Erasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Angel Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysse Folliot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulysse Folliot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Ricart in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the Les 3 Quilles FC defense, Benigno Ricart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulysse Folliot. The Les 3 Quilles FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulysse Folliot should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute Benigno Ricart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysse Folliot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led La Candela FC's Angel Guillelmus to fire away a dangerous shot which Ulysse Folliot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clément Bore in the 34th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Pablo Erasto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Les 3 Quilles FC's Ulysse Folliot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Rojas in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Luc Margueritte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulysse Folliot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Ricart, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 45th minute Ludovic Zhang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Erasto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulysse Folliot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Rojas, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half La Candela FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benigno Ricart stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Benigno Ricart came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the La Candela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Ricart couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Ricart in the 57th minute of play forced Les 3 Quilles FC's goalkeeper Ulysse Folliot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Erasto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clément Bore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Guillelmus charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angel Guillelmus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, La Candela FC's Angel Guillelmus got a free kick in the 65th minute. If Léo Verite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Oalo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Les 3 Quilles FC's Léo Verite tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Martin Oinatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clément Bore came free, but Pablo Erasto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Ricart in the 93rd minute of play forced Les 3 Quilles FC's goalkeeper Ulysse Folliot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Alfredo Rojas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With his leg Ulysse Folliot managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when La Candela FC's Alfredo Rojas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Jacobo Oalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Les 3 Quilles FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching La Candela FC's performance. The match ended with a win for La Candela FC.
