Spectators: 46 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) 1948 MKS's Donleavy Barrett started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Brasil McIan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vęgoria Team's Emre Demir got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vaggelis Pavlidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Pavlidis came free, but Ter Stegen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the 1948 MKS defense, Vaggelis Pavlidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ter Stegen. The 1948 MKS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ter Stegen should have stopped the shot. Patrick McDonald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Vaggelis Pavlidis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ter Stegen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Vaggelis Pavlidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute Vaggelis Pavlidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Mack Willson in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Vęgoria Team's Fred Carlsson. Donleavy Barrett's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Bogdan Pilarski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Demesio in the 32nd minute of play. The corner ended in Emre Demir almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaggelis Pavlidis in the 35th minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Vęgoria Team's Vaggelis Pavlidis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ter Stegen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute Vęgoria Team were awarded a corner. Emre Demir went to the cornerflag to take it. Vęgoria Team's Fred Carlsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ter Stegen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bogdan Pilarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Jameson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Ter Stegen came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vęgoria Team's Vaggelis Pavlidis. But to his dismay, Vaggelis Pavlidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaggelis Pavlidis in the 58th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Vaggelis Pavlidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ter Stegen was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. The supporters of 1948 MKS booed when Vęgoria Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boguslaw Ikalewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Demesio in the 69th minute of play. Vęgoria Team's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emre Demir in the 71st minute. A hard shot 73 in the game by Vaggelis Pavlidis from a close distance when the talented Ter Stegen managed to make a qualified save. 1948 MKS's players were relieved. Bogdan Pilarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Jameson in the 74th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Vaggelis Pavlidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 played minutes Vęgoria Team got a freekick which was hit by Vaggelis Pavlidis. Roman Sierocki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ter Stegen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute Roman Sierocki suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Ersin Uyguralp charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ersin Uyguralp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Zbyszek Sobczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1948 MKS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Zbyszek Sobczak scored to the left of an out of position Ter Stegen, making the score, 0-5. Boguslaw Ikalewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vęgoria Team eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
