With his leg Miguel Nunes managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Club Atlético Escocia's Jonas Tauro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Selvin Cabrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 17th minute of the match Henry Menjivar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Henry Menjivar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Henry Menjivar kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Club Atlético Escocia's Leonel Caponi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 19th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Escocia's Saul Fiz got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Oakengates:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Atlético Escocia:s goal. The goalkeeper, Miguel Nunes, was totally fooled by Club Atlético Escocia's Leonel Caponi, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 28th match minute, Oakengates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selvin Cabrera to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Jonas Tauro could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Miguel Nunes however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selvin Cabrera in the 31st minute of play forced Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Nunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Caponi's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
The wind increased when Leonel Caponi made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Caponi in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Nunes saved Oakengates from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Leonel Caponi put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Miguel Nunes. In the 60th match minute, Oakengates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Barraza to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Barraza kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Club Atlético Escocia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Fiz to maneuver through the defense. Club Atlético Escocia made a substitution. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Tauro in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Nunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miguel Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Caponi, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Mauricio Galdamez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Jonas Tauro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Nunes was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Miguel Nunes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Tauro went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Clemente Oroitz struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Miguel Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Escocia. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hugo Barraza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-1 in the 95 minute of play.
