Kléberson Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson da Fonseca in the 4th minute of play. Carlos Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FairPlay FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Rafa Loyola hit a great ball. Bandeca FC's Caetano Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Ortiz in the 17th minute of the match. Zé Augusto de Andrade's late challenge caught a Bandeca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Augusto de Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Ortiz in the 23rd minute of play forced FairPlay FC's goalkeeper Carlos Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, FairPlay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Ortiz scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the game, Edson da Fonseca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kléberson Soeiro. Edson da Fonseca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 38th minute Jacinto Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Bandeca FC's goalkeeper Kléberson Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edson da Fonseca. After 42 played minutes Bandeca FC got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Marquez. The crowd rose to their feet as FairPlay FC's Ronaldinho de Souza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kléberson Soeiro. That made the score 2-1 after 44 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Kléberson Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. After 52 played minutes, FairPlay FC's Rafa Loyola shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kléberson Soeiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FairPlay FC reached it. João Francisco Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Kléberson Soeiro came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by FairPlay FC's Edson da Fonseca. But to his dismay, Edson da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Bandeca FC's Rui Gaspar was substituted for Tiago Gabriel Batista. Bandeca FC's Fernando Banders was substituted for Caetano Azevedo. Bandeca FC's Kléberson Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson da Fonseca in the 61st minute of play. After some careless play in the FairPlay FC defense, Tiago Ortiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Monteiro. The FairPlay FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Monteiro should have stopped the shot. In the 69th minute, João Francisco Alvarenga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FairPlay FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. FairPlay FC's Eliézer Meireles was substituted for Rafa Loyola. Bandeca FC's Kléberson Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson da Fonseca in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to FairPlay FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. João Francisco Alvarenga hit a great ball. A hard shot by Flávio Arósio from long distance, 79 minutes into the match, got Carlos Monteiro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson da Fonseca in the 81st minute of play forced Bandeca FC's goalkeeper Kléberson Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Edson da Fonseca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Kléberson Soeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute Eliézer Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Ortiz in the 85th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Carlos Monteiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FairPlay FC's goalkeeper Carlos Monteiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Bandeca FC got a freekick which was hit by Márcio de Salles.
