Christiano Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. José Maria Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to LauerArmy getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Waldemar Brodel hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, Hélder dos Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LauerArmy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AF GuiFiguer OUT!! the free kick. Hélder dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to AF GuiFiguer OUT!! getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Cafu Bastos hit a great ball. In the 24th minute Tomás Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes, Jano Botelho made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. LauerArmy's Falcão Cabral tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th match minute, LauerArmy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Brodel to maneuver through the defense. José Maria Loureiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael Mattos in the 31st minute. When Oséas Dias came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the AF GuiFiguer OUT!! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oséas Dias couldn't finish the play. If Cipriano Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s José Maria Loureiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save AF GuiFiguer OUT!! from getting a goal against them. Cipriano Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute of the match Dorian Terra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Falcão Cabral skillfully saved the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jano Botelho to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match LauerArmy got a corner. AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christiano Fontes ran over to the corner to take the kick. LauerArmy were furious when Waldemar Brodel was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to LauerArmy getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Waldemar Brodel hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jano Botelho got free with Falcão Cabral in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute, Cipriano Pombal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Maria Loureiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 61 minutes into the game, Kaká Cardozo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LauerArmy the free kick. 60 minutes into the game, one of AF GuiFiguer OUT!!:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave LauerArmy a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Christiano Fontes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s José Maria Loureiro. 2-1. In the 71st minute, Cipriano Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Falcão Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséas Dias in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 played minutes AF GuiFiguer OUT!! got a freekick which was hit by Kaká Cardozo. Christiano Fontes struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. José Maria Loureiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LauerArmy. Dida França could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Falcão Cabral made a huge save. José Maria Loureiro came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by LauerArmy's Guga Freire. But to his dismay, Guga Freire quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind AF GuiFiguer OUT!!'s goalkeeper José Maria Loureiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
