After a rather tough play, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Wágner da Costa got a free kick in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dé Paiva in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Donatello saved Clube Audax Metropolitano from getting behind. If Fiori Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Francisco Mota's late challenge caught a Clube Audax Metropolitano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Francisco Mota helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Mestre GG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Francisco Mota to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 27th minute, Fellipe Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the game, one of Clube Audax Metropolitano:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 32 minutes, Mestre GG's Fiori Campidelis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fernando Donatello. When Mestre GG's Fiori Campidelis in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clube Audax Metropolitano's goalie prevented a goal. Dé Paiva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Fernando Donatello skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 51st minute, Dé Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeu Pombal in the 54th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Mestre GG's goalkeeper Raúl de Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Calderona. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fiori Campidelis in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Donatello saved Clube Audax Metropolitano from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiori Campidelis in the 67th minute of play forced Clube Audax Metropolitano's goalkeeper Fernando Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fiori Campidelis in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Donatello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 70 minutes into the match, Mestre GG's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Calderona came free, but Raúl de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mestre GG getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Christian Donato hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Wiliam Martins shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raúl de Amaral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 74th minute, Dé Paiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mestre GG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Hugo Calderona fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Audax Metropolitano's protests and gave Hugo Calderona a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute Germano Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raúl de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mestre GG's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
