LauerArmy's Falcão Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duda Abraão in the 6th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Duda Abraão lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Falcão Cabral. Christiano Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marquinhos Xavier having to interfere. Marquinhos Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder dos Santos in the 13th minute of the match. Luís Eduardo Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Geovanni Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LauerArmy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovanni Zonta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Paulo Jardel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Paulo Salles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Falcão Cabral made a huge save. Paulo Jardel's late challenge caught a Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Jardel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Giuseppe Mazza had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duda Abraão during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. LauerArmy made a substitution. Raí Reis replaced Giuseppe Mazza. A collision led to Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Duda Abraão hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goalkeeper Falcão Cabral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gugu Silva. Marquinhos Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gugu Silva made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Paulo Salles in the 54th minute of play forced LauerArmy's goalkeeper Falcão Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marquinhos Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Freire in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Paulo Jardel managed to get in a good position for a shot. LauerArmy's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Jardel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marquinhos Xavier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute Pedro Paulo Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guga Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marquinhos Xavier having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Eduardo Silva to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Gugu Silva hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 80 minutes into the game, when Geovanni Zonta put in a rough tackle. In the 82nd minute of the match Jailson Gonçalves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Falcão Cabral skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Paulo Salles in the 86th minute of play forced LauerArmy's goalkeeper Falcão Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu Silva came free, but Falcão Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duda Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guga Freire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, LauerArmy's Paulo Jardel got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while LauerArmy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
