The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute Bitelon FC - SAF were awarded a corner. Téo Marques tried in the 10th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Waldir Faria a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. Waldir Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Bueno in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Bitelon FC - SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Baptista to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Souto came free, but Waldir Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldir Faria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franklin Baptista in the 28th minute. Téo Marques lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 31st minute, one of Vascogoianiense FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vascogoianiense FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natã Simão in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldir Faria saved Vascogoianiense FC from getting behind. When Fiori Souto came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Bitelon FC - SAF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fiori Souto couldn't finish the play. After 47 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Bueno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bitelon FC - SAF and the Vascogoianiense FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bitelon FC - SAF getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Luiz Eduardo Bueno hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inácio Linhares to make the kick off. Fiori Souto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waldir Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Simão in the 53rd minute of the match. Luiz Eduardo Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Natã Simão came free, but Waldir Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes of play, Bitelon FC - SAF's Natã Simão made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waldir Faria was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71st minute, Cristian Furlan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldir Faria was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Bitelon FC - SAF's Enéas Soeiro was substituted for Luiz Eduardo Bueno. Enéas Soeiro scored 7-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldir Faria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Waldir Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enéas Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 86 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Souto came free, but Waldir Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Carlos Augusto Araújo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Waldir Faria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Waldir Faria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enéas Soeiro went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Souto came free, but Waldir Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Vascogoianiense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olavo Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Bitelon FC - SAF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
