After 5 minutes, Iwo Dejo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kiepurowo and the Bandeca FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The tension between the FC Kiepurowo and the Bandeca FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Kiepurowo's Dominik Pliszka got a free kick in the 13th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago Ortiz in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariusz Kosakowski saved FC Kiepurowo from getting behind. David Prestes hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bandeca FC's Luiz Fabiano Cearense got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Aleksander Sliwinski came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the FC Kiepurowo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aleksander Sliwinski couldn't finish the play. Dariusz Poniewaz's late challenge caught a Bandeca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caetano Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mariusz Kosakowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kléberson Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Poniewaz in the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiago Ortiz was the one to do the kick off. Mariusz Kosakowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Caetano Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléberson Soeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Gaspar in the 81st minute of play forced FC Kiepurowo's goalkeeper Mariusz Kosakowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Dariusz Poniewaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 minutes of play, FC Kiepurowo's Iwo Dejo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kléberson Soeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bandeca FC's Tiago Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Bandeca FC defense, Iwo Dejo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kléberson Soeiro. The Bandeca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kléberson Soeiro should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the FC Kiepurowo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
