The Maltepegenç fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Asım Arif Okcun should have stopped the shot. Asım Arif Okcun came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Xipoko's Arsenio Jakobe. But to his dismay, Arsenio Jakobe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Arsenio Jakobe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Xipoko getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Valdo Carioca hit a great ball. Asım Arif Okcun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cícero Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederico Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüsmen Eygül, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Maltepegenç's Asım Arif Okcun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo Macedo in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nildo Macedo in the 39th minute of play forced Maltepegenç's goalkeeper Asım Arif Okcun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gökhun Evcimen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 played minutes Xipoko got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Knowles. After the first half Xipoko were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cícero Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Maltepegenç getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Hüsmen Eygül hit a great ball. In the 55th minute Cícero Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asım Arif Okcun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Asım Arif Okcun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nildo Macedo in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gökhun Evcimen in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederico Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hüsmen Eygül received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Frederico Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Veysel Şahbey kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Cícero Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asım Arif Okcun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nildo Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Maltepegenç's Asım Arif Okcun got control of the ball when Nildo Macedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Asım Arif Okcun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cícero Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Maltepegenç's Asım Arif Okcun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Jakobe in the 81st minute of play. Nildo Macedo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 84th playminute. Asım Arif Okcun was a little too slow when Cícero Cruz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 0-5. Asım Arif Okcun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero Cruz in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Xipoko left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maltepegenç.
