In the 17th minute of the match Ruquense FC got a corner. Alvoha FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leopoldo Tonio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Silvano Bide was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Christian Chaime might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over François-Xavier Dionnet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Chaime ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the match, Remigio Quirze had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rosendo Eufrasio. Alvoha FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remigio Quirze was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Alvoha FC's Leonides Gorka was substituted for Epifanio Beremundo. Alvise Biancone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. François-Xavier Dionnet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvise Biancone in the 63rd minute of play. When Basilio Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Ruquense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Fernandez couldn't finish the play. Silvano Bide blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rosendo Eufrasio having to make a save. When Filiberto Fernandez fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvoha FC's protests and gave Filiberto Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Alvoha FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Filiberto Fernandez hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Basilio Fernandez sped through Alvoha FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rosendo Eufrasio. Alvoha FC made a substitution. Ladislao Aragones replaced Rodrigo Santos. 80 minutes into the match, Ruquense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Gorka came free, but François-Xavier Dionnet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Basilio Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Eufrasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonzo Lizar kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Alvoha FC's zone, Remigio Quirze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Eufrasio came out of the goal and Remigio Quirze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
