Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 龚明潮 ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Apocalipse FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Arruda came free, but Gianluigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Apocalipse FC's Antônio de Azevedo got a free kick in the 31st minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Adrian Mutu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gianluigi Buffon. Apocalipse FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Mutu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Rodrigues was the one to do the kick off. Gianluigi Buffon made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Frank Arruda sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Apocalipse FC's Gianluigi Buffon got control of the ball when Adrian Mutu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Arruda in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluigi Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Per-Olof Sigfridsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Apocalipse FC's Gianluigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Mutu in the 61st minute of play. Gianluigi Buffon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tony Albuquerque showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 74 minute of play. Adrian Mutu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 90 minutes into the match, Tony Albuquerque had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gianluigi Buffon. Apocalipse FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tony Albuquerque was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Marcos Rodrigues's late challenge caught a MengãOShowS - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Rodrigues helped the player get up and apologised. Marcos Rodrigues hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the last second Gianluigi Buffon throw himself and got hold of the ball when Adrian Mutu in the 95thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When the final whistle sounded MengãOShowS - FDFDF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Apocalipse FC.
