The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Roceira SC booed when Poetass FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witalis Brysz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's Jon-Egil Schjelderup sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelinho Barral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José Maria Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulk Speed, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Luís Paulo Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roceira SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Paulo Trevisan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Witalis Brysz in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelinho Barral saved Roceira SC from getting behind. Ksawery Winnicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. José Maria Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelinho Barral came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Poetass FC's Witalis Brysz. But to his dismay, Witalis Brysz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Michel Haaland sped through Poetass FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Maria Goiano. In the 29thth minute of the game Michel Haaland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poetass FC's José Maria Goiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Roceira SC's Nilmar Trigo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Zeng Xu Yuan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Marcelinho Barral skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Kalle Billberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Roceira SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jon-Egil Schjelderup fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

With a little luck, Poetass FC's José Maria Goiano got control of the ball when Hulk Speed tried to sneak it across the goal line. Michel Haaland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelinho Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeng Xu Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelinho Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalle Billberg in the 69th minute of the match. Poetass FC's José Maria Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ksawery Winnicki in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witalis Brysz in the 83rd minute of play forced Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Poetass FC's Váldson Miranda was substituted for Nagoi De la Torre. In the 85th minute of the match Poetass FC got a corner. Roceira SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jon-Egil Schjelderup ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Ksawery Winnicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
