Ademar Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Cássio Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Fernandes having to interfere. Luiz Fabiano Sena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abelardo Maranhense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goalkeeper Abelardo Maranhense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Fabiano Sena. The crowd rose to their feet as Bizard FC's Luiz Fabiano Sena slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abelardo Maranhense. That made the score 1-1 after 16 minutes of play. Abelardo Maranhense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fabiano Sena's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Abelardo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olivedos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Luiz Fabiano Sena scored to the left of an out of position Abelardo Maranhense, making the score, 2-1. In the 28th minute, Cássio Ferraz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ademar Fernandes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Ademar Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Ferraz in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Donato Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Bizard FC's Luiz Fabiano Sena dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Zahari Skerlev kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Tony Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Fabiano Sena to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the game Tony Schmidt made a throw-in which Cássio Ferraz played forward. Cássio Ferraz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Ademar Fernandes made a huge save. If Luiz Fabiano Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abelardo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Cássio Ferraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Olivedos's corner Tony Schmidt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ademar Fernandes quite easily take care of the ball. In the 72nd minute, Rômulo Custódio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olivedos's Abel de Godoi was substituted for Osvaldinho Veiga. 83 minutes into the match, Olivedos's Abel de Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ademar Fernandes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Per-Arne Stålberg hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes Bizard FC got a freekick which was hit by Per-Arne Stålberg. Tony Schmidt charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Schmidt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bizard FC booed when Olivedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bizard FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Olivedos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
