Morgan Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Amor having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Lúcio Joinvilense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AIK FOTBOLL the free kick. Melquiades Amor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per-Oskar Nykvist in the 17th minute. Arne Kilström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After having played for 35 minutes, Genko Balevski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genko Balevski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Valério Queirós got a free kick in the 38th minute. Per-Oskar Nykvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Melquiades Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Oskar Nykvist in the 40th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Morgan Blom got free with Melquiades Amor in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isac Sundström during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the AIK FOTBOLL defense, Hulk Fenomeno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Kilström. The AIK FOTBOLL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Kilström should have stopped the shot. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's attentive Valério Queirós managed to snatch the ball when Gürkan Gurka made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. 57 minutes into the match, Genko Balevski notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of AIK FOTBOLL's Arne Kilström. The audience thought a goal was coming when Genko Balevski got free with Arne Kilström in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fredrik Axelsson took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Amor. Melquiades Amor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. Melquiades Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Axelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Arne Kilström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulysses Paiva in the 72nd minute of play.
