The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Franz Beckenbauer fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PREZULO FC's protests and gave Franz Beckenbauer a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes PREZULO FC got a freekick which was hit by Franz Beckenbauer. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Domingo Bulnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferhat Sertuğ in the 21st minute of play. Jarbas Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano van Beek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, PREZULO FC's Turgut Soyuer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 41st minute, Anderson Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adriano van Beek struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jarbas Quadros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ✪ XV de Umarizal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Turgut Soyuer made the kick off in the second half. Allan Winström made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by PREZULO FC's Shi Xi Zhen. Domingo Bulnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Soyuer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PREZULO FC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after ✪ XV de Umarizal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Shi Xi Zhen took the corner. Turgut Soyuer scored 2-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingo Bulnes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 67 minutes, Turgut Soyuer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PREZULO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Turgut Soyuer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute Turgut Soyuer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Bulnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimundo Guerra's late challenge caught a PREZULO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Guerra helped the player get up and apologised.
