Dinei Pinheiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Sand's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by SeleSantos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jean-Paul Møffelmand was slow to take the kick. During this time ITAFUT 4EVER's players had a chance to rest. Sebastião Henriques was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. João Vítor Porto hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. José Sand took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dinei Pinheiro. Dinei Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Durval Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The long shot by Niilo Mikkola in the 18th minute really tested Nilson Peres's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Dinei Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Sand in the 20th minute of play. José Sand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dinei Pinheiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save ITAFUT 4EVER from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dinei Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by ITAFUT 4EVER's José Sand. But to his dismay, José Sand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 38 minutes, José Sand made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. SeleSantos FC's Dinei Pinheiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the game, Vânderson de Moraes threw the ball into play from the sideline. ITAFUT 4EVER's Marquinhos Best quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of SeleSantos FC booed when ITAFUT 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Henriques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Sand made a kick off. Nilson Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. José Sand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ITAFUT 4EVER made a substitution. Jardel Baggio replaced José Sand. Jacobo Casado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Flavius Postelnicescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dinei Pinheiro. SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dinei Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Baggio in the 69th minute of play. Dinei Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by ITAFUT 4EVER's Jardel Baggio. But to his dismay, Jardel Baggio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Jardel Baggio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Dinei Pinheiro 74 minutes into the match. A hard shot 78 in the game by Jardel Baggio from a close distance when the talented Dinei Pinheiro managed to make a qualified save. SeleSantos FC's players were relieved. Dinei Pinheiro came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by ITAFUT 4EVER's Jardel Baggio. But to his dismay, Jardel Baggio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by SeleSantos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Durval Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Leif Törnqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SeleSantos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Törnqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 96 in the game by Jardel Baggio from a close distance when the talented Dinei Pinheiro managed to make a qualified save. SeleSantos FC's players were relieved. Chants of ITAFUT 4EVER echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as SeleSantos FC had held the ball for most of the match.
