Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tolek Kiszkiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián Espadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Olimpia HSB's Tolek Kiszkiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Espadas in the 8th minute of play. Zézinho Neiva hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Fernando Morientes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute of the match Olimpia HSB got a corner. Soroca F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Morientes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Fernando Morientes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Czeszejko in the 24th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Wennerqvist came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko. But to his dismay, Fabian Czeszejko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Olimpia HSB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustavo Tartalo took the corner. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Czeszejko in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Kiszkiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panait Maxim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Dan Wennerqvist made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Fernando Morientes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olimpia HSB's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Morientes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Wennerqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tolek Kiszkiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Lano in the 47th minute of the match.

Tolek Kiszkiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Lano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner. Gustavo Tartalo went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Amador Venceslao heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Fabian Czeszejko took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dan Wennerqvist. Dan Wennerqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Lano in the 61st minute of play forced Olimpia HSB's goalkeeper Tolek Kiszkiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dan Wennerqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Czeszejko in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Wennerqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Răzvan Necula replaced Adrián Espadas. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Soroca F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fernando Morientes was slow to take the kick. During this time Olimpia HSB's players had a chance to rest. Olimpia HSB's Fernando Morientes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dan Wennerqvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 74th minute, Răzvan Necula made a precise shot to the right of Tolek Kiszkiel. Olimpia HSB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. With a little luck, Olimpia HSB's Tolek Kiszkiel got control of the ball when Godofredo Quilino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Răzvan Necula did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Tolek Kiszkiel 85 minutes into the match. Gustavo Tartalo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 90 played minutes, Olimpia HSB's Fernando Morientes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olimpia HSB reached it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Olimpia HSB fans cheered their team off the field, for while Soroca F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
